Help Us Understand Movement Through Menopause
How do you move through menopause? We want to hear from you.
At The Coventry Menopause Project, we know that menopause can affect every part of life — including how we feel about movement and physical activity.
For some women, movement can help them feel stronger, improve their mood and support their wellbeing. For others, menopause symptoms such as fatigue, joint pain, poor sleep, hot flushes, changes in confidence or simply not feeling like themselves can make being active feel much harder.
But everyone's experience is different.
That's why we're asking women to share their experiences with us.
What we're exploring
-
How women feel about movement during perimenopause and menopause
-
What types of movement or activity women enjoy
-
Whether menopause symptoms affect how active you feel
-
What makes movement easier or more difficult
-
What support, information or resources could help
-
What women would like to see available in their communitie
Your experience matters
There is no right or wrong answer, and you don't need to consider yourself "active" to take part.
Whether you walk, swim, exercise, dance, garden, practise yoga, play sport — or currently struggle to do much movement at all — we want to hear from you.
Your experiences can help us better understand what women actually need and help shape future TCMP resources, support and community projects.

Women of Coventry - we REALLY need your help.
We are on a mission to improve access to timely, appropriate and truly supportive menopause care across our city.
What we’re seeing so far is clear - services are overstretched and women are struggling as a result.
Care is often fragmented, inconsistent, and a far cry from preventative and holistic, leaving many feeling unheard, unsupported and unsure where to turn
We’re gathering as many experiences as we can to help present the huge gap in provision and every single voice matters.
Worryingly 92% of the surveys gathered so far are from WHITE BRITISH WOMEN - yet we know 100% of women WILL go through Menopause, many of whom will be struggling with symptoms and risking their long term health & wellbeing
So, we ask you, please let your voices be heard - and moreover share with your communities - if you've had a great experience - we want to hear about that too. This isn't a blame game, it's about sharing evidence, knowledge and data to improve the life of women
The more voices we hear, the stronger this becomes.
This is about changing the future of menopause care in our city - together
share your experience here - it takes 2 minutes
